STARSEEDS (2020-2021)
I began drawing these alcohol ink eggs at the beginning of the pandemic. Combining visual art with dreamwork meditation, I was able to overcome debilitating addiction. Instead of drinking alcohol, I began drawing with it. I used these eggs to explore my relationship to color and form through meditations upon the wondering stars. I call them star seeds because they were the abstract seeds of what became the wondering stars.
